NDT X-ray Lead Marker Tape

NDT X-ray lead marking tape is a specialized tape with one side coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive and the other side embedded with lead made numbers, letters, and symbols. It is mainly used in radiographic testing (RT) to permanently and clearly identify the inspected workpiece and detection information on the film or digital image.

Core role:
Identification and traceability: Clearly display unique information on each radiographic film, such as workpiece number, weld seam number, film position number, date, etc., to ensure the traceability of test results.
Image quality indicator: By displaying the IQI model and reading, it is demonstrated that the sensitivity of this radiography meets the standard requirements.
Positioning and orientation: By placing positioning markers (such as →, ↑) and center markers (such as ⊕), clearly indicate the radiographic area, radiation direction, and film position.
Backscatter protection: The lead "B" letter on the back is used to detect and warn against backscattered radiation that may affect the quality of the film.
